;Well now if you will pay closer attention to the results the first ISP pinged at 38 less than 50mi away while the second one pinged at 10 less than 100mi away. I also have a much higher upload speed wich will help alot more than one would think when your running at around 5mbs upload and your on cable you can have intermintent times when you connection speed actually drops severely low and that can cause issues with lag due to the available bandwidth being consumed (when you do a speedtest its a average rating not a constant). You should also ask questions before assuming things JBurn (i had everything from the pole to my modem replaced less than a month ago wich is why I switched ISP charter isnt going to fix a problem on there may lines unless they completely break. My point is that alot of people think they have great internet and they dont. (i was well aware it was my internet causing my lag issues previously it just had not been as bad.) The first result of 38ms latency and 31mbs down 4.1up looks great on paper the thing is it a average. Call of duty sends thousands of packets a minute if not more. you need ALL of those packets to remain lower latency and FTTP if done right can provide that. (my data doesnt see a coper line (excluding my cat5e ran into the house) until it reaches the host/other players)

Also to the part about host variability. Im sure that unless the host has EXTREME issues in there local area that atleast MY DATA reaches the host appropriately even if I may not see exactly what is happening in game. As long as I shoot as soon as I see it (assuming it not the host wich would be the only one seeing everything in real time -100ms of lag comp. I usually get the kill. I went 27-8 with KSG running and gunning on Plaza with my new net. Before my new net there was NO way i could have done that unless i had host.

Also acording to speedtest.net only 11% of connections GLOBALLY are faster. then my current internet.
